Please & Thank You

So it’s just you and I for now. Ha! No worries, lets cherish this moment. It’s in moments like these where your uniqueness is not only displayed but appreciated. Not based on performance but accepting every ounce of who you are was created by Christ purposefully. Every ounce of your being reflects Christ’s personal investment. Thank you for not being a carbon copy. Why? Because Christ’s investment in you, is needed. Not what you do solely, but who you are in Christ is effortlessly astounding.

Given a form, I found myself completing the different sections. Once completed, the attendant went through several layers of the form to provide a paper copy of what had been written on the original form. In reviewing the copy provided, immediately I was annoyed. That’s right! Thoroughly annoyed to the point that I inquired, “excuse me, I’ve been provided a blank piece of paper with sporadic ink applied, Ahem.” Not making much difference, however; being politely informed that what was provided was a carbon copy. The depreciated carbon copy then remained with the attendant.

Christ’s authentic investment in you never depreciates in value or worth. Instead, Christ’s investment in you produces irrefutable, incomparable and sustainable value. Understanding Christ’s intentional investment in your life voids comparison. Embracing your identity is being accepting of who Christ says you are through His word, obsolete of others approval. Choosing to cleave to Christ’s word provides purposeful assurance so that regardless of where you serve, you do so from a place of knowing who you are in Christ. No more carbon copies. Please & Thank You

Lover of all things beautiful. They say when life throws lemons, make lemonade. I have a passion for encouraging women heal from their painful experiences, grow in faith, and pursue their dreams. Loved Through Every Season is a journey to open the eyes of the discouraged, burdened and overwhelmed woman to find encouragement, strength and courage to continue.
