So, its just you and I here, together. Why not grab your favorite beverage and let’s chat awhile. Should this particular blog be longer in length, I invite you to stay. Why? Because there are moments where my sharing cannot be summarized into brief sentences. Thank you for staying.
There are moments where I’m an excellent student. This includes being attentive, engaged in laughter or the likeso. In these moments, I’m most appreciative of thought provoking content being shared stretching me beyond the normalcy of learning in the moment to causing me to engage in learning long after the speaker has concluded their segment. I recently listened to a sermon and could not decide if I should clap my hands, do summersalts or run! Why? I had never given consideration to the frustrations of carrying favor. Now what I will not do is rehash the sermon, however; I had never considered the frustration of carrying favor from Mary’s perspective. Mary, single, pregnant, misunderstood, yet favored. Whew! Endured Favor, Unwavering Favor.
Though immediately accepting of being favored, a moment worth celebrating resorted in a journey of stretching, thriving, living through relational changes all while being misunderstood by others. Never quitting, the endured favor carried blessed beyond the corridors of temporary inconvenience. Ohhhhh now this is where I get so excited and want to teach a bit.
Single moms & single dads it’s okay to be frustrated, its okay to cry, its perfectly fine to have unanswered questions……..just don’t quit. While favor does not always feel good, it can work for your good; but only if you do not quit. Career woman who meets the demands of each day, managing multiple tasks while smiling through exhaustion. Its okay to be frustrated, just don’t quit.
In what ways are you nourishing and enriching your life with the words you speak?
