This should be an interesting blog series. There were a few choice topics to select, however; there was a memorable moment that resulted in sharing the love of Christ with another. Long after that moment, realizing the need to remain salty changed, modified my perspective on salty speech. The ability, expanded capacity to engage in dialogue, understand what’s needed, and purposefully meet the need, can bless the life of another when choosing to remain salty. Remaining salty is not about self gratification, but meeting the need of others, purposefully.
Most times, salty can be interpreted as one being resentful, bitter, distasteful, and grudge carrying. Remaining salty speaks to the impact of the words you speak to others and how their lives are affected. The accountability of salty speech is the essence of building others and not demeaning them because they do not fit into your frame of reference. Having salty speech adds value to the lives of others beyond a moment and obsolete of depreciation.
