Blessings In Being Vulnerable

If you want to be strong all the time, with no days off raise your hand! While my hand is down, being strong all of the time can be exhausting. Strong, a word that is often misused in an overrated manner has depleted some of the best. Being strong is admirable, but being strong in the Lord…now you have something to work with. Learning the blessings in being vulnerable has been indescribable. Through the discomfort of learning how to be vulnerable, I have an appreciation in sharing. Newness at its best is an invitation to unwavering vulnerability void of fear. Why? Because you get to chose with whom you share. Now I really want to clap my hands!

Choosing newness is better, because you are better. Walking through newness is revitalizing, because you are not in the same place they left you. Why is this relevant? When you share, whether its a meal, exchanging a compliment, or engaging in conversation, you get to chose. No longer fragmented, but whole. Vulnerability is a blessing that welcomes others in sharing parts of your life, at your discretion. The beauty in vulnerability is that fear has been evicted, permanently.

To be strong in the Lord is laying down your strength and standing in his, unwaveringly. Though many strive to be individually strong, that gets exhausting. Being strong in the Lord, is a privilege. Embracing newness is quite an experience in that relying on the Lord remains valuable. The blessing in vulnerability is valuable. Can you handle the investment in vulnerability?

Ha! Newness is my choice……
