In cultivating and nurturing your love for Christ, it is worth the investment. Within the love of Christ is provision, protection, reliability and so much more. Beauty is a word that is used frequently. Whether in a store exploring the latest beauty products or listening to pop culture define, from their perspective; what beauty is or is not, there is a measure of beauty that cannot be purchased but is obtained by developing a relationship with Christ. Beauty For Ashes is not reduced to a fantastic brow brush, or the shade of pomade used. Beauty For Ashes explores how Christ beautifies the meek with his salvation, leaving one full of gratitude & gratefulness. While Christ can remove the despair out of your tears, in exchange for his gratefulness is overwhelming, he can also fill your life with gratitude that has nothing to do with tangible items. In writing this, I’m most grateful that Christ has entrusts me with commas, where I almost placed a period. The commas in life teach you how to be grateful and remain. The commas in life equips you with a level of faithfulness that is not learned in church. Life’s commas teach you how to accept the unwavering love of Christ. Because Christ remains with me, never gave up on me, I consider it a privilege to serve him through every season. Because of Christ’s unwavering love,
Not limited to being flaunted on the arm of another, Beauty For Ashes is the very essence of sowing in tears. Despair being a distant memory, I now know and am still learning what it is to sow tears of gratitude & gratefulness. Better than what I’ve known before, I’m okay with holding and wiping my own tears. That may not seem like much, but I’m most grateful.
Unwavering Gratitude & Gratefulness,
Loved Through Every Season
