Unwavering Gratitude

I’ve been trying to wait in sharing Gratitude & Gratefulness, however; the longer I try to wait, being overwhelmed with Gratitude cannot be subsided. Now, it’s interesting that my gratitude is not related to tangible items, but knowing that nothing has been wasted. Not one tear has been wasted. Beyond grateful.

So I have found success, intentionally making time for jogging. I pulled out my good tennis shoes, grabbed my jacket, and had the incredible idea to take my pup jogging. Ha! Preparing for my jog, it starts to rain. That’s okay, I had a hood on my jacket. Amidst trying to jog and my pup trying to keep up, somehow I managed to get through my jog while ensuring my pup was okay. Completing my jog while it was raining was such a big success. While I started with other joggers, when the rain intensified, going back to their vehicles was the choice. Knowing that it was raining, I chose to jog anyway; ensuring my pup could keep up. At moments, there was a steady jog, and at other moments, I had to consider my pup and slow down….but quitting, retreating, going backwards were never options.

Along the way, some turned back…and that was there choice. Beyond grateful for my jog, I was most grateful that I had what I needed. Now if you have ever jogged or walked in the rain, it can be distracting. I found myself completely undistracted by the rain. While jogging, I considered that I have seed in the ground and the rain nurtures the soil. Though not ideal, I kept jogging through the rain because I have seed in the ground. Undistracted by the rain!
