Love is often approached by one trying to find and be loved by another. In the context of this approach, exhaustion occurs when the excitement subsides. Love is more than feeling, it is an investment, work….even when you do not feel like it. Learning how to love can be tedious, exciting, maturing, problem solving and so much more. But what about learning how to love yourself?

When you learn how to love yourself and consider how Christ shares his love with you, it transforms how you approach loving others. While you do not need permission to be authentic once you have done the work to grow through, you love others in a space of having been made whole. Though the body of Christ needs you to be whole, if you are to share the love of Christ with others, it is imperative that its from a place of wholeness.

Lover of all things beautiful. They say when life throws lemons, make lemonade. I have a passion for encouraging women heal from their painful experiences, grow in faith, and pursue their dreams. Loved Through Every Season is a journey to open the eyes of the discouraged, burdened and overwhelmed woman to find encouragement, strength and courage to continue. I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my pup.
