Love Embraces Expectation

While living in a world where most applaud having a platform and the intricacies that come along with that territory, it is often overlooked that being able to handle such responsibility is a mere result of uncompensated sacrifice. Now, if you’ve limited “uncompensated sacrifice” to money, let me help you. Uncompensated sacrifice is the equivalent of service when no one says thank you, praying while others are playing, sowing in tears while others are sleeping. Yet, amiss the lack of applause in the trenches; still finding a reason to embrace the expectation of what God has placed inside of you, even when no one understands. So when a platform is seen, it is the compensation that not one tear, prayer, sleepless night was meaningless. Some cleave to the word love as being what is said…and that’s okay if that’s where you are. The essence of love’s beauty, overlooked; is in what you do. Love is more than what you say. The epitome of service, love keeps yielding beyond the moment embracing expectation.

Embracing love’s expectation. Let’s work with this. To embrace requires you to do something. Whether embracing a new responsibility, or new level of relationship(personal or professional), to embrace is actively accepting the contentment, sensitivity, consideration, vulnerability of what you are expecting void of wavering. It’s one thing to have expectation for someone else to be blessed. While this is most admirable, it is one thing to hold the tears of one’s answered expectation….but are you willing to hold the vulnerabilities of your expectation without wavering?

Most recently, I’ve been learning how to hold the tears of my expectation. Different than before, realizing that my expectation in God, for myself; is being reignited, as tears streamed down my face; I had to learn how to wipe my tears with the assurance of my expectation in God. I had to learn how to embrace the vulnerability experienced placing my complete reliance in God to remain faithful. Learning to handle the responsibility of your expectation is necessary. Whether it’s learning to laugh, holding your tears, writing, praying, or more. I’m learning to be okay with learning that love embraces expectation daily and without wavering……..
