I enjoy good laughter and humor. When thriving through the workday, there
are moments where the right measure of humor and laughter is just enough to get
one on task. At other times it is embracing the company of loved ones to enjoy.
Volunteering has been something I’ve enjoyed, recently. Waking early, getting
dressed, navigating through traffic; embracing the time spent ensuring the
needs of others are secured has not only been beneficial, but provided a chance
to bless others without looking for something in return. When love serves, lack
Love is an investment when understanding that its foundation is service.
The love of Christ provides and meets unfulfilled needs. Though the benefits
are immeasurable, when Christ decided to love he continuously makes himself
available to meet the dire needs of others. To love requires availability,
effortlessly giving of your time, intentionality, investing, learning, sowing,
and reaping. While Christ gives of his love, it continues to draw mankind to
him. Embrace the love of Christ, relentlessly.
The love of Christ is not about fame and accolades. It’s being able to serve
vulnerably with an assurance that valuing such a relationship yields fruit that
transcends the emotional “pitter pat” feelings others experience when
a new relationship is ensued. Sharing vulnerability in relationship with Christ is liberating. Though many express disdain for being vulnerable, it conveys complete reliance on Christ. Authentic, the love of Christ is an incomparable love that never fails but withstands. Beyond the corridors of authenticity, and investment, the love of Christ is sustainable!
Some chose to demand love from others, and if that’s their choice….Okay.
When love serves, it conveys time spent nurturing, cultivating, growing, and
developing so that no lack is experienced. When love can serve, it can laugh
without fear of the future. When love continues to serve……..,
