Commended, revered, celebrated, admired, applauded……the Proverbs 31 woman wins the award! She does so much and well, without complaint. In exploring the Proverbs 31 woman, further; the detail, attention, time, maturing level of consistency did not occur overnight, but with time. Serving cannot be reduced to a specific location. While many limit servantship to their local assemblies, the epitome of serving is how you show up in your everyday life. The Proverbs 31 woman intently focuses on the needs of her household, ensuring she has the skills required and needed so there is no experience of lack in home. While others are sleeping, the modern day Proverbs 31 woman engages in learning, bettering, and cultivating herself in preparation for what she has been praying for and to steward well what she has. The modern day Proverbs 31 woman seeks to serve well.
Serving well goes beyond completing a particular task. Serving well includes overcoming procrastination, being okay with becoming a student again, not being intimidated, growing through underdeveloped areas in life, understanding that it takes time. Though celebrated for all that she does well without a mere mention of needing relaxation, the Proverbs 31 woman is a woman who serves well!
Amidst my other responsibilities, balancing consistency has been my focus. In doing so, I often consider the topics for my blogs to be written. Well, I had identified a unique topic, however; at the time it didn’t make sense with what I was writing…so I kept it moving. Well, I was listening to a sermon where the preacher made a statement about a season of Commas! Why is this important???
